Dual Address Standardization

Dual Address Standardization (DAS): As a standard part of the DANTOM package, our DAS service runs your address information through two USPS CASS-certified standardization software programs to ensure address accuracy.  This process matches the ZIP+4 codes to append the delivery point barcode for all “hits” and identifies any potential undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail pieces.

What it is (Features)

One of the many features that adds intelligence to our Intelligent Collection Letter (ICL®) software is Dual Address Standardization (DAS).  This process automatically sends your letters through two address standardization programs, licensed by the United States Post Office (USPS), to improve the “deliverability” of your mail.  The process matches the ZIP+4 codes to append the delivery point barcode for all 'hits' and identifies any potential undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail pieces.

What it does (Benefits)

• Expedites mail delivery
• Reduces postage rates
• Reduces the amount of return mail that must be handled manually
